Being new to town and, let's say, less that adept at auto mechanics, I panicked a little when my engine light came on and the need for a mechanic arose. After scouring online reviews for the best auto repair in Detroit, I ventured to Maurice's. Most mechanics and retailers in general would have tried to sell me as many products and services as possible to meet quota, not necessarily customer need. What happened, however, was quite the opposite. Maurice gave me a free diagnostic, informed me of my car's issues, and that they were in fact not urgent in nature. All he asked was that I return if this or any other issues arose again and, for this courtesy, I can honestly say I have and will continue to do so.\r
