I am 58 and work outside the USA in Africa but have a local address. I thus handle my medical needs in the USA when I am on vacation in the USA. In November 2013, I requested and received a December appt. during my Holiday vacation to address an on-going problem with one of my feet. Dr. Fox's Office later confirmed the appt and forward forms for me to fill and bring in to the appt. A day prior to the appt., her Office called to remind me of the appt. and advised me to call 30 minutes prior to arriving in case the Dr. was running late. \r \r I did all of these things and was advised to arrive on-time for my scheduled appointment. I was on time, turned in the forms, and waited. During my long wait of 1.5 hours, two other patients, who arrived after I had, were cleared for their appts. Once was seen by the Doctor, the other was verbally informed (within my hearing) that the Dr. would see her that day. After 1.5 hours of waiting, during which I queried twice as to how long it would take, an Administrative Assistant informed me that the Doctor was running late and could not see me that day. Instead of my appt being moved to the next day (Wednesday, during which the office was open), I was informed that the earliest the Dr. could see me was after the Holidays, in late January. \r \r I had not caused a fuss in any way, but it was thus made clear to me that the Dr. or her Office staff had decided that I was not a desirable patient. I do not know the reason for this and it no longer matters, but the treatment was abominable. I was in the USA for a limited period and it is not easy to get in to see podiatrists on short notice, so I was not able to get my foot checked out this time around (it will now be months).\r \r I will not be returning and will not be recommending this office to friends and family. A shame, because the Office is quite conveniently located to where I live when in the USA.
