Every winter we take our kiddos to a hotel to swim in the pools while it's a blustery cold Iowa Winter outside. We are from the Des Moines area so we've made the rounds through many of the area hotels. For the past few years I've been hearing that Adventureland Inn has great pools for little kids, but because of other reviews I'd been very skeptical about trying them out. After a girlfriend of mine had her son's birthday party there and loved it, I decided to give it a try. We LOVED our stay. The staff was friendly and kept asking how we were enjoying our stay. The boys (2 and 5) had a fantastic time in the pools and on the slides. We stayed in a ""family suite"" which gave us plenty of room and patio out to the pool
