BEWARE! Spa Winghaven 'new ownership' not honoring gift cards sold!\r \r When I lived in Lake St. Louis, I frequently visited Spa Winghaven;\r however, was relocated to Chicago one and a half years ago and called\r yesterday to schedule a service next week as I will be in town visiting\r family and friends.  The receptionist asked for my gift card number and\r informed me that it expired.  I expressed to her there was no expiration on\r this card, she said she could not honor it.  I requested to speak with the\r manager; however, the manager would not be in until 4:00 pm (this was at\r 9:00 am).  The receptionist took my name and number and said she would be\r in at 4:00 and she would call me back.  I never did received a call back.\r \r I followed up and called Spa Winghaven again this morning at 9:00 am and\r spoke with Andrea.  Explained to her that I am in receipt of a $100 unused\r gift card which was given to me for Christmas in 2011, my daughter has a\r $150 unused gift card as well.  Andrea statterrify expired. I said there is NO EXPIRATION on the cards.  I explained it was not communicated of any expiration when the card was sold, there is NO EXPIRATION on the card itself, this was unlawful.   Andrea, the manager, stated that the new owners took over the business in October as a new LLC and therefore did not\r have to honor the gift cards.  She further went on to explain that they are strict with NO EXCEPTIONS to this rule.  She shared that she could put me through to the Director Kelly Spearman's voicemail, but she probably won't call you back.  I went to the website and noticed Spa Winghaven recently posted that gift cards contain an expiration.\r \r Stay clear of Spa Winghaven!
