Review content:
My first experience at Sayler's was in 1968 when I was a freshman on a date with my high school sweetheart, (He's still my sweetheart!) and we've been going there regularly ever since. It's our first choice for any reason we can think of for a celebratory meal. We always order the same thing - the tenderloin. It is incredibly juicy and tender, and I can honestly say that we've never had a bad meal, or disappointing service in our 46 years of enjoying this marvelous steak house. The onion rings are absolutely delish, and their sour cream is to die for. (I don't know what they do to it - it's not regular sour cream.) When you consider everything that comes with a meal - relish tray served with the sour cream/dip, bread with lots of butter and garlic butter, soup or salad, entreé and sides, and ice cream, it's a great value. Most of their wait staff has been there for years.....that in itself says something about this establishment's core values.
