Review content:
In terms of customer service, one of the two worst stores I’ve experienced. For a long time I’ve avoided the Staples store at Tanglewood Mall because the people there consistently exhibit no concept of customer service. Only once has an employee asked if I can be helped and then she wrongly encouraged me to buy Mcafee antivirus for the notebook computer I was purchasing which already had Norton. \r
I went in the store a month or so ago (Oct 2013) and the cashier didn't even look up. I said to her, ""aren't you going to greet me?"" \r
Last night (Dec 1, 2013) was the last time I will ever enter that Staples store. \r
I'm at fault for going in near closing time, around 5:50 p.m., to look for a flatbed scanner. I didn't realize it was near closing time and no one alerted me to the fact. After wandering the aisles to find a scanner and getting no assistance from the group of employees standing at the ink cartridge section I went to the router section. The employee who reached in front of me to get a tag from the shelf was at least kind enough to say “excuse me” but still, he offered no help.\r
I went to the monitor section and noticed a great $80 discount on a Samsung 27 inch monitor; I decided to buy the monitor and looked around to see if there was one boxed near the display or to MAYBE find a salesperson to retrieve one for me. Without warning, the store's lights were turned off. I went to exit the store where I found the electric doors turned off and a lethargic adolescent employee who might as well had been a Zombie extra on The Walking Dead.\r
I had hoped that (what was my last) my experience at Staples on Electric Road would provide a more positive experience than ALL my other visits to this Staples, but it only served to solidify the fact that the people in this store don't care about customers or even taking my money. \r
