I needed to have my transmission checked, so I called Mr. Transmission in Marietta and was able to make an appointment immediately. They worked around my schedule so that I was able to leave the car at the shop and go have lunch.
In the 2 hours I was gone they had the time they needed to do the testing and change out the fluids. They gave my car a test drive and really made sure it was running well. I know that this will keep me from having transmission problems later on. Since my car is relatively new, from 2006, I didn't need any real work and just required their maintenance.
I really enjoyed the experience. Everyone I dealt with at Mr. Transmission was knowledgeable. They gave me a tour of the shop, and were friendly as well as experienced. It really is a well maintained shop and is clean. They showed me how they break down the transmissions and were willing to share their knowledge with me.
At other shops I have felt that they don't tell me the whole truth behind the repairs they do. However, at Mr. Transmission they were willing to explain the procedure so that I was confident it was up to par. They even stamp all of the parts they put in the car. That way it is easy to see the work done by Mr. Transmission. I thought that was interesting because it shows they clearly take responsibility for their work.
