If you're looking for a salon in Pittsburgh, there's no better place than Capristo Salon on Ellsworth Avenue in Shadyside. I like to make a whole event out of my visit there ... What i like to do once a month is to make an appointment with Roman, bring down my girls, then go shopping on Ellsworth and Walnut. It's a fun day for us all, unwinding, relaxing, and getting pampered.
Roman is by far the best in the city at highlights. The only downside is that you have to book in advance to make an appointment. They get hundreds of people a day come through their salon, so they have a strict booking schedule.
