Enjoy a step back to the past with this place without losing a good movie view experience! This is an example of one of the few older theaters in the Portland area that remains running some first run films. Their prices are less expensive than the cineplex folks, seats are more comfortable (cushy), and it has that old theater ambiance. They have update the sound system to Dolby Digital, and have updated their projection equipment as well -- so the movie experience should be as good (although not THX) as in most cineplex theaters. Here's another thought -- by going here you will be supporting a local business instead of one of the faceless conglomerate corporations that just take the profits out of the area.
