I would highly recommend L.A. Carpet Warehouse. My mother has another little cottage on her property. They put linoleum flooring in the kitchen and bathroom. In the bathroom the flooring started to discolor about a year and a half after the installation. They came out, looked at it, and determined whether the discoloration was their fault or the installer's. They had it replaced in no time at all.
They are very thorough and very polite. They didn't immediately start making it out as the client's fault. In a very short period of time after my mother called to tell them what happened they were over making the inspection and the determination of fault. It was no time at all after that that they were taking up the old stuff and putting down the new.
They were pleasant to work with. It was easy. I don't know how they are when it's clearly the client's fault, but they were very, very nice to my mother. She will be 94 this year and she pretty much took care of it all herself. They were very respectful and very nice.
They're also really good because they have a lot of carpeting in stock, so getting your carpeting doesn't take forever. If they've got it in stock, you can probably get it the next day. I'm sure there are some more select carpets that they don't keep around, but they keep a lot of carpeting in stock. You're usually not waiting for your carpeting to arrive.
