Review content:
I had almost stayed at this hotel about 3 years ago, and I can't believe how much it has changed since then!! The lobby was beautiful and decorated for the holidays, the rooms were spotless and newly remodeled with the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in at a hotel, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and it was the best continental breakfast I'd ever had! It has the cheapest price out of all of the hotels in downtown Kansas City, unless you'd want to stay at a mom and pop dump for $30! They were easy to find and when we got lost in the downtown area we called and talked to a front desk agent named Abigail and she stayed on the phone with us until we found the restaurant we'd been looking for and lead us there perfectly! She actually worked the entire stay we were there and was great with recommendations for things to do and see during our stay and was professional and easy to talk to, all the staff was! The manager Anand had the best restaurant recommendations and sent us to the best BBQ we'd ever had!\r It was a bit further away from the bar district power and light than we had expected but the cab was only $6 and the hotel got us a cab within 2 minutes! Since it was 4 girls I wouldn't recommend walking around after dark just because it is a city and has practically no traffic at night in the area the hotel was in, but overall our stay was incredile! I have stayed at the Marriott and President downtown and while their location was on top of everything the Comfort Inn and Suites was just as nice and included breakfast, had an indoor pool and free wi-fi for half the price! If you're looking for a hotel that doesn't break the bank but still gives you 5-star service in the downtown area, you will love the Confort Inn and Suites!
