I found Brittannia Painting on Craigslist, of all places, in August, right before my birthday. I have a tri-level house and when Alan came over, he was so fair and so good. I initially had him just painting the trim first and then up there in the gables, there was a section he missed because of a miscommunication. He came back, after I had already paid him and finished painting the section and it was so fantastic, that I had him repaint the whole house. I get compliments on it all the time!
This is probably the best Craigslist find I've ever had! He's not like other sloppy painters. He's very meticulous with his brush strokes and he has a good, solid work ethic. He's also very personable, gets the job done, and you can really tell that he likes what he does. He has passion and twenty-five or thirty years of experience under his belt. Overall, he's just great at what he does, courteous, and on time--he's there when he says he would be. He works so fast, it's like magic.
