I brought my puppy, Bear, here. Veterinarian Carolyn Remsberg had prescribed and administered, and caused to be administered, 23mg of Cerenia to Bear in one day. He died some 2 hours later. When I called to get her license number, or a way to find her license number, she was "unreachable." I used the information I had about her to find out why searching for "Remsberg" in the State vet database came up with a nursing license that expired in the 90's. Her license number DOES NOT come up under "Remsburg" in the Delaware State veterinarian database. It does come up searching "Gurnee-Remsburg" or "Gurnee." \r

I also found Pfizer's application for FDA approval of Cerenia: "The Freedom of Information Summary Original New Animal Drug Application NADA 141-263 "Cerenia" (Maropitant Citrate) Injectable Solution," which had some interesting information regarding the administration of Cerenia in dogs. Study #1460N-60-01-585 by Dr. Michael C. Savides concluded that Cerenia in dogs under 16
