SERVER -- friendly but slow FOOD -- OK to bad and definitely overpriced ATMOSPHERE - fine, patio would be nice if weather cooperates We arrived shortly after they opened for Sunday brunch. Since we were the only diners for the first 30 minutes , it seemed strange that our server -- who was very friendly -- was so very slow. Our party of 3 pieced together what caused the slow service. The staff were doing prep work after they opened. It seemed as if they had only started prep just before opening. Things we would have expected to be done or nearly done weren't ready when we arrived around 11:15 am. For example, our server told us we couldn't get pasta dishes for awhile because fresh pasta was still being made. Two in our group ordered the french toast. Some pieces were so burned both diners sent them back. This special consisted of 3 pieces of toast with a small sprinkling of nice fresh berries. Bread used to make the toast was low quality-- it was the shape and consistency of Wonder Bread. One person ordered steak and eggs which included fried potatoes and toast. The eggs were not cooked to order but that diner still thought that special was good. Bottom line -- for breakfast or brunch, save yourself some money and go to your local IHOP or Perkins.
