Review content:
So I've never felt the need to do a review but the service at this store was too horrendous for me not to say anything. I had the ""pleasure"" of being in the store twice and, both times, was treated horribly regardless of the fact that I was as pleasant to them as they walked all over me. Should have grown a backbone. Anyway, the first time was near closing and I had my eye on a side table and ended up buying it, with plans to pick it up the next day. The people at the store not only turned off some of the lights before the store even closed, but they also didn't give my friend and I any warning (that is usually a curtesy many stores provide) that they were closing up soon. I thought it was weird but brushed it off since I can understand wanting to leave at the end of a long day. And ignored my business majoring friend's rant about how unprofessional they were and that your only supposed to close AT the time the store officially closes and blah blah blah. It wasn't until I came the next day to get my table that I realized anything was off. The rude behavior continued. To name a few: standoff, angry attitude, brushing off simple inquires and comments or outright ignoring something I just said loud and clear (ex. Thank you). I thought that they may just be busy or something but as I saw how she interacted with other customers, I came to the (honestly surprising) conclusion that she was behaving this way because I wasn't white (as she saw it). This is honestly the first time I've experienced anything racist as it's generally not obvious where I'm ""from"" (my parents are from an area close to the Caucasus mountains and i was born and raised in the US, so no accent). I also asked my mother- who came with me on the second trip, and she clarified that I wasn't being paranoid. Frankly, I've never seen such unprofessional customer service. Your entitled to you opinion but you should put that aside at the proper time. Sorry for the long review and thank you for reading my novel lol. I hope those that read this have a better experience than I did:)
