Review content:
We went here as a group to meet another group of friends, who were already inside and drinking for hours already, on St. Patrick's Day. We expected it to be crowded given the fact it was St. Patrick's Day and this is your typical frat-boy type bar with young just-out-of-college age guys acting like drunk idiots so I'm not going to complain about the crowding (which was any bar on that day). I'm not even going to complain about the fact that I had to pay $6 for a lousy CAN of Bud Light. What I do feel the need to comment on is the over-zealous bouncer who worked the upstairs room/door and the manner in which he treats/acts/speaks towards the bars patrons. My roomate was patiently waiting on line for the ladies room (at least 15 minutes). She was still patient even when the bouncer allowed 2 girls who supposedly work there (but who were not working on this day) cut the line in front of her. She was still patiently waiting (and was the next person in line to use the bathroom) when the bouncer brought a 70 year old lady from the STREET up to use the bathroom and brings her to the front to cut the line. However, it was at this point the bouncer chose to berate my roomate for absolutely no reason and begins SCREAMING at her, calling her drunk (she had had TWO BEERS and was NOT drunk) and stupid and telling her she needs to shut up and stop acting out of control, etc. to the point where he had my roomate in tears and hysterical. Maybe he mis-took the other girls in line who were yelling and making a scene for my roomate who hadn't said a word. I don't know. But what I do know is that I will NEVER return to this bar again after witnessing this. I (nor any of my friends) have ever been treated/spoken to in such a manner as we are not usually "those girls" or "that group" who causes scenes by getting wasted. We have had good times at this bar in the past but this altercation has left us with such a bad taste in our mouth I can't even recommend this bar to others.
Cons: Bouncer, line for the bathroom
