Review content:
We were seated promptly (we had reservations) but I did notice that the dress code was not enforced at all. One gentleman had a t-shirt with a profanity on the back. Wear what you will on the street, but if the dress code says ""no t-shirts"" then no t-shirts should be the rule.\r \r The food was mediocre and over priced. The duck was tough and the portions were tiny. I left hungry. To add insult to injury, the menu is prix-fixe which means that they bundle together the courses for a single price... unless of course you order certain items that are extra like the foie gras . We ordered the shrimp cocktail as our appetizer - 2 shrimps in a cocktail. The molten chocolate cake was mushy chocolate cake.\r Our 9 year old daughter was stuck buying either mac 'n cheese, chicken or a 5 course meal. Even when we complained to management about her not being able to order a separate shrimp cocktail, we were treated as if it was a privilege for us to eat there at all and that you can't just order an appetizer - ""its just the way we do things here.""\r \r The ""view"" was about 1/2 view and 1/2 office buildings. If you're even slightly affected by motion sickness, you may want to re-think this too. The turning of the restaurant does tend to add a queeziness factor.\r \r If you want to spend $100 per person on food, go to a restaurant that has $100 per plate food. This isn't it. If you want a view of the city, go to the top of the Empire State Building. Pros: The waiter tried very hard to make this a good experience for us Cons: The food, the value (cost / quality), the attitude
