My friend and I stopped in for a drink and snack on a Friday during lunch. Our first clue should have been that the dining room was empty with the exception of one other party. We started with a lime margarita which was watered down and screaming with lime. We sent them back and stuck with water. We were looking to have a small snack to waste some time until the movie we were going to see started. We each ordered a burrito al a carte and with the chips and salsa this would of done the trick. When we asked for chips and salsa we were told that since we did not order a complete meal the chips and salsa would be $3.95. I have been to dozens of Mexican restaurants and they almost throw the chips at you when you walk in,not here tho. My friend had her heart set on chips and salsa so we paid for them. I ordered a chicken Burrito my friend a ground beef. When the food arrived at the table the burritos were not burritos at all but looked like an enchilada with the red sauce on top. When I asked about this I was told by the waiter "I'm Mexican I know the food." We were hungry and needed something to go with our $4.00 chips so we tried them. I cut into mine and there was no chicken just a big pepper and my friends had no beef just beans! Now we needed to see the manager. How can you mess up a simple order with only two other people in the place.The manager slowly walked over shaking her head like we were bothering her. Her name was Margo, and stated she was the OWNER and manager. We explained the problem to her and in short she said that we must of ordered the wrong thing .I'm not Mexican but have a good idea what a burrito is all about. Then she asked us if we just wanted to eat what was served to us and she would take 10% off the bill. My friend and I both started to laugh at this point. When she asked what was so funny we stated this whole experience in her restaurant was a joke. At this time we both got up and left. DON"T GO TO THE MARGARITAS IN ERLANGER.
