Review content:
I got back from a short trip and the ice cream in the freezer of my side-by-side was soft. The freezer thermometer I keep in the box freezer said 40 degrees when I put it in there! I called Active Appliances and someone was there the next day. The serviceman said it could be one of two things, and rather than guess and charge me for something I didn't need, he told me how to diagnose the problem myself. I had it figured out the next day, called and told them, they ordered the part, and in less than a week it was fixed. (The trick he taught me kept the faulty thermostat working more or less for that week, so no food got spoiled.) I will definitely use them again if another appliance goes on the blink.
