Review content:
I had a runt of the litter kitten who had fleas when I got her. Due to the fleas she was under weight and anemic. The kitten stopped eating and I took her to the West Geauga Veterinary Clinic. After 2 days I took her home and followed the instructions given to me. The kitten became worse again and my husband immediately took her back to the clinic. He was notified the the bill would be over $400 (we had paid $300 2 days prior). Knowing it would be a financial strain on our family he chose to turn the kitten over and relinquish his rights. But, it was MY kitten and when I went in to pay (and take the kitten to another facility) they refused because my husband (who was NOT the kittens owner) had turned her over. I went in every day and they called the humane society on me, refusing to give me MY kitten and take it to another facility. I was told that a vet tech had ""taken a liking to the kitten and had take it home with her!"" I am seeking legal action to get my kitten back but would warn anyone to stay away from this facility. They are a disgrace to good veterinarians across this country and I would highly recommend the Kirtland Veterinary Hospital which is a short distance from West Geauga. There, people are treated with dignity and respect and this situation would never had happened if I would of only known it at the time of emergency.
