Buyer beware here. As long time customer my overall experience had been good until my most recent visit. I went in for a routine cleaning and all went well as usual. A week or so later a bill arrives in the mail. I called to question the charges and was told they were for items not usually covered for adults. Insurnce only covers these items for kids and teens. I am almost 40. I do look like a kid or a teen. The answer I received ""why was it done if 1. not necessary and 2. known that it is only for kids and teens"" was that I would have to know that it is not covered and ask specifically for them not to do it. Highly UNETHICAL PRACTICE. Extremely dissapointed and currently seeking a new dentist office because of it. Make sure you question and clarify all proceedures or you will end up extra unneeded charges. Very sad to see a good practice go bad.
