BAD EXPERIENCE! Like others who have posted here...My daughter's initial consultation was wonderful. I even got a follow-up call from Dr. Crist. He is a very friendly and will talk your ear off. HOWEVER,\r

1) Once I signed my contract the experience changed. The staff NEVER answers the office phone and I always have to leave a message. I'm lucky to get a return call that same day. \r

2) Dr. Crist changes dental assistants frequently. In the 18 months we have been with Dr. Crist, we have seen 4 dental assistants come and go. It seems they are fresh out of school because the work they do is mediocre at best. The components come unglued frequently or they leave parts of the wire so long it cuts inside the mouth. I constantly have to call and schedule a second appointment for the month because something ""came loose, or fell out."" Once the entire wire came off and they couldn't see my daughter for 3 days. When we finally came in, we were about 2 blocks away and the wire came out AGAIN!\r

3) Around Xmas, the pallet expander they put on my daughter came loose from one side and was still glued to her molar on the other side. When I called the office I was told Dr. Crist took the day off and he was ""at the farm."" The receptionist gave me his ""emergency"" number but he NEVER returned my call. My daughter spent 4 days drinking soup because she could not chew with that large metal expander hanging from one side of her mouth. She was afraid she would bite down on the metal and chip a tooth or something.\r

So, if you want to constantly take time off from work to have repairs done on your braces or you want to be treated like you are inconveniencing them when you need something, then by all means go ahead and become one of his patients!
