I am really ashamed to say, I made a bet with the owner of Superior Moving & Storage, and lost. We had interviewed several moving companies, including Superior Moving & Storage. During a routine follow up call, the owner Anthony and I spoke and I advised him that I had several estimates and Superior Moving was the 2nd highest price. He advised me of the quality of service they would provide and the honesty in his company’s estimate. I took it all as a sales speech and blew it off. I asked him to match the price from American Van Lines, he said he could not match it and explained to me that the move could not be completed in the amount of time American had quoted me. I stated, that the estimate was in writing and I was going to hold them to it. He sort of chuckled and said good luck on your move, there must be a mistake with your estimate from them and somewhere there is an error. We actually had a good conversation and I told him out of all the companies we had interviewed Superior Moving was the most professional and we really wanted to go with them, and I asked one last time for a price match. His reply, The BET: Superior Moving was so sure that the move could not not be done for the amount of money that was quoted by some other companies and bet me that if I could produce a completed ""Bill of Lading"" for that price that he would pay for my moving costs, but in return if he was right I had to write reviews about how professional his estimate was and that I was 100% wrong and got taken for a ride and ripped off. Well I'm sure at this point you know I lost the bet. I chose not to move with Superior Moving and picked the other company solely based on price. The move was horrible and an absolute nightmare. I am so sorry now that I am dealing with Broken Items, and a moving company with horrible customer service that won't return my phone calls. I was charged more than Superior Moving's original estimate and this whole thing has left me completely exhausted. However I am a person of my word, and this review is to clearly advise all customers that I should have chosen Superior, and if I ever move again I will not even speak to another company. I should have listened to Anthony and understood that the amount of time and money quoted by the other companies was not a realistic price. If your reading this, heed my warning..do your research!!
