Review content:
These people are smart and nice! I took my computer to 2 other places in Tigard to have them look at it because the lid was falling off the keyboard part of the laptop. The 1st said that it couldn't be fixed and directed me to the sales floor recommending that I buy a new computer with their ""free 18 month financing"" for only $700. The 2nd said that they might be able to fix it but it would be a couple of weeks and they couldn't quote a price. At Mad Dog Computer, they took a look at it and then explained the situation to me. They said that it looked like a couple of pieces of the case were broken and needed to be replaced but they would have to open it up to be sure that was the only problem. They quoted me $80-$140 (depending on how many and which parts were broken so I left it with them. A day later, they called and told me that more parts were needing to be replaced than they had expected but that the parts were less expensive than they had expected so the total was going to be $95 and they wanted my approval before proceeding. I'm so used to auto repair places and contractors who always low ball the estimate to get the job and then blow you away with the bill but Mad Dog amazed me coming in towards the low end of their estimate. When I picked up my computer a few days later, the cost was EXACTLY $95 like they had told me. The only shock that I had with the bill was that I wasn't shocked by the bill. They know what they are doing, make great recommendations and do exactly what you decide that you want done. My computer is now in one piece and works great. When comparing my final bill with the ""free 18 month financing"" from the other place, I am so glad that I went with Mad Dog. Woof.
