DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! DAMAGE CAUSED AND THEY WON'T PAY FOR IT!\r \r 14 days without air\r \r 8/27 - Referred by American Home Shield (AHS Warranty) around 7:30pm. I called Airzone (who advertises they are 24/7) and spoke to a woman that could only tell me to call them back during business hours on Monday. \r \r 8/29 - said it was an electrical problem and left (it wasn't, and I spent the next day pleading with AHS to not waste time sending an electrician out, which wouldn't be until 9/4 to diagnose this). This is Day 1 I took off work. \r \r 8/31 - diagnosed as a bad blower board in air handler\r \r 9/6 - came out to install the board and noticed that the harness the old board was connected to was not usable (8/31 tech missed this detail). This is Day 2 I took off work. \r \r 9/7 - harness & blower board installed\r \r 9/8 - we noticed water coming from our garage ceiling. I went into the attic and saw that pipes running to drain pan were not connected and water pouring out of them. After just connecting pipes manually, the water flowed correctly into the drain pan. They say they are a 24/7 company, but when I called on 9/8 to report the water, John was unclear. He kept changing what he said from ""there's nobody here"" or ""I don't have anyone available."" He was very rude and told me that I'd have to call back on Monday morning to set up an APPOINTMENT to fix their error. After calling AHS, they called John on the phone and he was ""magically"" able to go ahead and set an appointment time with them without checking the staffing for the next day. \r \r 9/9 - Airzone shop vac'd the attic and glued the pipes together. The employee had a conversation very far away from my wife's earshot and then left. This is Day 1 my wife took off work (3 days total between us). They were scheduled to be out between 11 and 3pm, but said they called my wife's number and nobody answered so they went on to another call. Later found out that the employee I gave my wife's number to (because I know what my wife's cell # is), wrote it down wrong and they didn't try to contact me (they had my number from previous calls). The tech showed up at 4:30pm. My wife almost could have worked a full day instead of wasting time in an non-airconditioned home. \r \r 9/17 - Thomas, their manager, is blaming an install from 10+ years ago for not gluing the pipes. The pipes have managed to be perfectly fine that entire time. He would not rule out that his guys might have accidentally kicked the pipes, but he said they aren't responsible even if they did because the pipes were not glued properly TEN YEARS AGO. \r \r So 14 days of no A/C, 3 days of work taken off, and I ended up having to buy a portable A/C unit for $200 that a neighbor was lending me due to the number of hours we put on it. Does Airzone apologize? No. Does Airzone care? You be the judge. \r \r USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. They won't even apologize for writing numbers down wrong, let alone causing damage. If you have a warranty company and they refer you to Airzone, say NO. \r \r
