Review content:
Norma clearly works straight from her heart. She has been a great blessing in my wedding process. I happen to find her through a google search one day while driving through St. Paul, I am so glad I did, it was meant to be. I wanted desperately to wear my mom's wedding dress for my wedding. Other tailors had looked at the dress with disgust and estimated $500 to fix the dress. When I brought it to Norma, she repeated to herself several times ""Oh so much work!"" as she looked at what needed to be done. (I had gotten it professionally cleaned, costing over $300, and the inside layer of the dress had shrunk and was a different size than the outer lacy layer, having many different decals individually sewn into the bottom layer.) She explained she would have to take the entire dress a part and completely re-do it. She was so right ""Oh so much work"". The amazing part was she looked at me and told me that she could tell in my eyes that I really wanted to wear my mom's dress, so she would do it. She completed the entire project; completely redoing the upper portion of the dress, the sleeves, adding in a bustle, and a lace up back. She told me of the many hours she put into it and it showed. Still she only charged me $200. I even went back to her to get the sleeves deepened and she did it for no charge and also took the frame in saying since I had lost a few pounds. I felt total confidence in her work, my smile was wide on my wedding day, and I received countless compliments on the dress. So very thankful for Norma and the work she does.
