it was my first time at "the room" saturday night. they've turned me on to burlesque shows! the performances were not only creative but hilarious. even the emcee jumped into the action and sang "sweet caroline" with the burlesque performers and audience members as back-up dancers. also, it was a guy's birthday and he was encouraged to do a little dance for the audience. he earned a wad of cash for his performance! the entire place was in high spirits. aside from the $5 cover, $20 drink minimum with a credit card (bring cash!) and average to a bit expensive drink prices, i loved it! it's definitely a place that won't fail at entertaining, at least not on a friday or saturday night!
