Review content:
I loved the apartment, but the application took weeks. They ran my credit and then told me the apartment was rented. When I called to inquire why, they said they didn't like the fact we were going to bring in a caged rat (which we asked about before we applied and they said a caged pet was okay), and the fact that we have not given notice yet to our current place. They did not reach out to us to explain a decision; we did not need to bring the rat--it was just a bonus. We have mold in our current place, so we are supposed to look for a new place, and notifiy our landlord when we find one. They never even asked our explanation. \r \r But even though that was the explanation, they ran my credit anyways and I have a negative inquiry now. They would not answer why they did that if they already knew they weren't going to give us an apartment. This is shady and I must look elsewhere for a place to stay. I'm going to report this inquiry as illegal for checking my credit without intention of renting.
