I have been getting my hair cut with Mindy at Akada for the past 3 years or so. I have very naturally curly hair.The first time I visited, I had been wearing my hair straight and was not ready to wear my hair curly. Mindy understood and cut my hair so that if I wanted to straighten it, I would easily be able to. Later on, I decided to stop flat-ironing my hair and embrace my curly hair, and Mindy cut it specially to enhance my curls.She is great at listening and working with people. In addition, she is truly talented at creating haircuts that work for curly hair. And if you are someone who likes to wear your hair both curly and straight at different times, Mindy will recommend a cut that works both ways. It is worth the extra drive for me to go to Akada. I have seen a few other hairstylists there, and they are all great!
