Businiess name:  Carpet Man-Floors To Go
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
I purchased carpet from The Carpet Man on 7-06-09. The carpet started shedding imediately. I thought it would quit. I notified the owner Adam that there was a problem in June 2011. He came to look and admitted this shouldn't be happening. The mill where carpet came from declined my claim. I went back to Adam on 10-18-11 to pickup address for the mill. His office manager informed they stock this carpet for rentals because renters don't take care of carpet.. This carpet cannot be cleaned at all. If you spill something no matter how much you dry it out, you end up with a large hole. You have to clean your vaccuum brush daily because it full of fiber, there is a white glue all over my house from the carpet, that is the backing. I was told this is latex. I paid a lot of money for this stuff. It was written up like what I paid for carpet was actually work paid for by my insuance. Of course my insurance company can back me up, that this is incorrect. It has been an unpleasant experience and I feel very cheated. I take all my business out of town now because of retailers like the Carpet Man.
