Review content:
My review of Worden's Pond Family Campground is based on the disservice I received while I pulled over by the pond.If you go on their website, you will see that there motto is to treat others as you want to be treated.\r \r I am a sleep deprived mother of a 4 month old baby who has been a terrible sleeper, so we take a lot of drives that he can fall sleep in the car. I live in Tefft Hill, relatively close by. I happen to pull over by the pond, on the other side of the campground when my baby woke up and started crying. As my car was still running, I jumped to the back seat so I can feed him and hopefully he can fall back asleep. Through the rolled up window I notice an older woman with a dog wheeling in a golf cart, coming towards me, gazing at me suspiciously. She sizes me up and tells me in derogatory tone that this is private property and I have no business parking there. Now, mind you, I wasn't parked. I was in the back seat of a running car feeding my crying baby to sleep. And even if I was? Is that a crime? The woman (from her tone she must have been on e of the owners) continued to demean me and tell me that there is a big sign in front of me that says private property. I told her I need to feed my baby and then I'll leave, She started cussing me out, calling me a ""smart-ass bitch"", waking up my guy. Frustrated by such uncanny ignorance, I pulled out a bottle from my baby's mouth, got out from the back seat and before I got in my car, told her that God is watching. She laughed at me.\r \r Has anyone ever encountered anything like that? Most people are delighted to see a mother and a tiny baby. I was almost at tears! Since I wasn't giving them my money, I deserve to be treated that way? Now is this the kind of place you want to stay at where they chew you out before you cross the threshold? You decide for yourself.
