Review content:
Ambience is too dark to read menu or see food. Service is awkward and uneven. Cassoulet is non-descript. Boulabaise is essentially mussel soup, lacking any variety of quality seafood. Spinach salad is too over dressed, almost soupy. Lobster bisque is ok, but lacks depth, and is slightly too rich - it does not live up to the hype. Onion soup is just plain ordinary. Bread is good and crusty, but we had to ask for it. Needless to say, we skipped the uninspiring sounding desserts. There are better choices in this genre (e.g. Le Bouchon and Bistro Campagna).\r
Pros: BYO, easy parking, good bread
Cons: way too dark, worse than ordinary bistro fare
