Review content:
I had the owner of the salon do my hair for my wedding in 2011. This is a late review that I meant to post a long time ago, but of course got carried away with other stuff. I do not recommend this place at all. I went for a hair trial and all she did was put curls in my hair and said that it would cost more money for her to put bobby pins or the actual hairstyle I wanted for my wedding.. ughh duh? Hair trial? So me being young and dumb, I agreed, and left. I met up with another friend telling her what happened and she was infuriated that I didn't say anything. So I went back up with my friend and the owner said the same thing again.. and of course I left.. I liked my curls, but thought it was shady that she didn't finish it.. I wasn't paying to see if she could curl. So it was so close to my wedding and I was too afraid to change the salon location, after all I did like the curls and figured whatever she did I could probably fix, or deal with somehow. So, the day of the wedding we get to the appointment early. All of the chairs were taken up and staff (including the owner) didn't even acknowledge us. We asked for a table to set up our donuts, coffee, and mimosas (which we asked for permission in advance) and they just treated us like we were bugging them. So finally we started getting our hair done. The owner did a terrible job on my curls. She curled my hair, pulled it all apart then hair-sprayed it.. it looks like a mess. So I asked her to redo them.. so she did.. but my hair looked so flat.. I had a bump on top that I wanted for my clip and asked her to raise it a little and she said she couldn't. Before I could even tell her if I liked it or not, she was giving a child a hair cut. My hair wasn't terrible, I just thought that the service was poor and the owner was low class and rude. My hair wasn't that great either.. I probably could've done the same work when I was in 8th grade. I wish I stayed at my normal salon, or even did it myself. The other hairstylists did very well on my bridesmaids though, especially the short blonde girl. So maybe just don't go to the owner.. someone else should be running that place!
