One word - AWESOME!!! I was in Baltimore visiting friends and wanted them to take me to a ""real maryland crabhouse"".... one with brown paper on the table and mallets to whack the crabs! The Crackpot was their pick! I am so glad they chose it. It was awesome!! We had the best crabs I have ever had and loved the old-school retro atmosphere. It really took you back and made you feel like you were in the real deal of crabhouses. As everyone knows, some of the best food is found by visiting the hidden gems which have been around forever... a true testament to their quality! By no means is this place fancy so don't expect it - it is a casual place to have a great time, eat awesome crabs, have some pitchers of beer, and enjoy summertime in Maryland! A few friends who are too ""lazy"" to ""whack the crabs"" as I say (LOL) had some crabcakes and burgers which were also unreal. The jumbo lump is a whole different world of what we get in Boston. The best tasting crabcakes I have ever tried... ever. You can't go wrong with The Crackpot! Just go in planning to relax and enjoy some delicious food:-)
