I just treated a friend and myself to an afternoon at Aequis and we had a simply perfect time. All of the glowing reviews here are accurate as the Aequis staff has perfected the art of gracious hospitality to match their expert skill. The decor and atmosphere are a bit artsy, but the staff's genuine care and apparent belief in what they are offering make it all very comforting. The afternoon I spent here surpasses any other day spa I've tried on the West Coast. And NEVER a sales pitch!
I was told by one of the Aequis girls that they would be moving to a new downtown location in the future, and I hope they don't lose the perfect vibe they have created in their uniquely wonderful Pearl District space.
