Businiess name:  Villa Nova Restaurant

AWFUL....I attended a wedding reception there last weekend... and am very grateful there was an awesome DJ, because Villa Nova did everything in their power to RUIN the wedding.\r \r 1) Arrived and reception hall was still being vacuumed/set-up with less than 20 minutes until 'official' start time. The bridal party had to jump in and place favors on the tables (which HAD been delivered in advance).\r \r 2) Very slow bartenders. The line was continually wrapped around the room.\r \r 3) The soup was passable, but the salad was limp and wet. It allegedly had Italian dressing, but just tasted soggy.\r \r 4) The mostaccioli was rubbery and bland.\r \r 5) The beef was cold. The chicken was either pink (under-cooked) or had more bones than meat.\r \r 6) There was supposed to be wine continuously on every table. The bride had to ask about it half way through dinner and received a snotty (we're opening them now) reply from the manager.\r \r 7) We had water carafes, but had to ask for the water glasses.\r \r 8) Despite waiting in long lines to get drinks, if you left your mostly full drink on the table to go dance, it was gone (removed by staff ""cleaning"") by the time you returned.\r \r 9) Dinner ran so long that the bar re-opened an hour late (yet still closed at the exact stroke of 12, shorting the wedding an hour of paid bar time)\r \r 10) At the end of the evening, a waitress asked about gifts and centerpieces. She informed me that they would hold things over night. The manager informed me (rudely) that the girl ""had just started that day and didn't know what she was talking about"". \r \r Thankfully good friends and family are what is important to a wedding, because if Villa Nova had their way, they would've decimated the happy couple's day.\r \r Save your money, go some place else to celebrate your special occasions.
