I had a horrible experience here for an implant. This all started in April of 2012 - They removed a tooth and put the implant in at the same time (apparently not common practice) and used algae for a bone graft. \r \r The first visit took 3.5 hours (extraction and implant). I had to ask for pain meds. No antibiotics or antibacterial mouth wash were prescribed.\r \r Many months later the area got infected. It never did feel right. The entire time it was just sore. I went in for what I thought was a check up (x-ray the area, and so forth). This turned into a 4-4.5 hour appointment in which the infected area was removed, bone was harvested from parts of my mouth for a graft, but in the end more algae was used. They, at least, didn't charge me for the second visit since they had already billed insurance for this area.\r \r This time I asked for antibiotics and pain meds. I was told they couldn't call pain meds in anymore due to a change in WA State law and pharmacies not allowing it. I now know this to not be true since the oral surgeon I'm now seeing didn't have any issues.\r \r Both times I was not given extra gauze for the area. As I was leaving I could taste the blood in my mouth. \r \r I was determined not to go back to there after two pretty traumatic events. Again, no call to see how I was doing.\r \r I went to an oral surgeon who has been monitoring the area since March of this year. Soon after this second visit the area again became infected. I do not have a history of mouth infections! This time was even worse than the time before and my face swelled up incredibly. It hurt so much that I couldn't even touch my cheek around that area. The oral surgeon called in antibiotics, an antibacterial mouth wash, and pain meds for me.\r \r A week later it was decided that the implant just had to come out. There was no bone around the front of it. It was pointing in the wrong direction. The algae was doing nothing.\r \r Ever since the algae and bone have come out I've felt like a different person! There's hardly any swelling, the inside of the bone doesn't hurt (I used to feel a constant pain in there before with the implant... I didn't really realize it until it was gone). I have a ton of energy!\r \r I sent two emails asking for a refund. No response. I sent a certified mail and finally received a letter back with a partial refund and a bunch of excuses. I sent another email (thinking I had their attention and they would finally respond over email) indicating that I deserved a full refund. No response. I sent another email. No response. I sent a certified mail again.\r \r This time I got an email response! In it they indicated they would give me all but $100 back. I was tired of fighting so I let it be. They also said they couldn't give me my x-rays because they had a ""system upgrade"" in January that wiped many of their patient files.\r \r I was in luck, I thought, I had seen them in March... after their supposed system upgrade. And, in March, they had taken x-rays. I replied to the office's email asking for those x-rays. No response. I sent two more emails. No responses.\r \r Please do NOT go here!\r \r
