I have a large 7 year old yellow lab that until last Friday had been in perfect health and only seen Dr. Jaeger once a year. We have been to the office for nail trimming and the staff is excellent. However, Titus experienced a severe allergic reaction to a bug bite that made him miserable. I arrived at 8:10 on Monday morning with no appointment or even a heads up phone call. The staff could not have been kinder, they were so understanding about my own panic and so tender with Titus who was very agitated and running a fever. They put me in a room and began assessing the situation even before Dr. Jaeger arrived. As soon as she arrived she came to care for Titus, she even apologized for keeping us waiting. We did not have an appointment so waiting was never an issue. They began treatment immediately which included clearing the fur from the bite area so he would not develop a "hot spot" , checking his ears, gums and glands, administrating the first dose of medication (which was not an easy
