I have usually enjoyed the atmosphere at this Department store restaurant but one particular time we went with our friends and children to just have dessert (they open later than other places and the children were hungry so lunch was at another place). But when we told them we just wanted to come in for dessert the hostess told us that they don't serve dessert. Confused as I just ate there with dessert a few weeks earlier I asked "there's no dessert at all?" She said, "Not if you're not going to have lunch". Obviously we found somewhere else to eat (our bill was pretty big too considering we like a little wine with dessert!) and I don't plan on going back for a while. I wrote to Neiman Marcus and was sent a letter from the local office inviting us to come back and have dessert "on them" so I did give them 3 stars but I don't think I'll be returning to that restaurant.
