WHY HERE?\r
10+ of my coworkers went here and had lasik (blade/bladeless) by Dr. Niksarli over the past 3 years. No issue and everyone raved about it. Everyone also had the same referral rate ($3,300 for both eyes). So I didn t look elsewhere.\r

* CONSULTATION\r
Scheduling a consultation was easy. I signed up online and picked a time I liked. I got a confirmation call within a day. On the day of consultation, everyone was nice, the place was clean and quite busy. There was a couple of people also there for consultation and a few for followup. I waited ~15mins before a junior rep walked me through a standard eye exam. He also took multiple ultrasounds of my eyes to generate a heatmap to examine my vision and calculate the thickness of my cornea. I won t go into the details, but the process took about 15mins (no pain) and then he took me to a private room to answer any questions I had about the procedure. Dr. Llambiri (optometrist) also came to talk to me to review the technical stuff about my eyes. She told me that I was eligible for blade lasiks and explained why. Finally, I was led to the business office to talk about finance. Thai was the sales guy and he tried to sell me the package, but that s when I told him that I m already in for the procedure and I just wanted the same rate as my coworkers. He was very easy about it and agreed on the referral price in less than 10mins. I had to pay a $100 refundable deposit and Thai gave me a form with my remaining balance along with a bottle of pre-op eye drops. Note, I didn t get to meet Dr. Niksarli, but I was okay with that.\r

* OPERATION\r
My operation was at 4pm on a Thurs (with Fri off work). I read from previous reviews that evening is ideal since you d want to go to sleep right after, but that s not true for blade lasik (see POST-OP below). I showed up 30mins before my appointment to complete the paperwork and pay in advance. The paperwork wasn t bad but the wording could be a bit scary. As for payment, they do take credit card. I went through the eye exam again (same as consultation), but this time they took more than 10+ ultrasounds. Then I was led to a dark waiting room to do a few more eye exams. In between exams, multiple reps came in to review the post-op caring procedures with me. Luckily everything was written down to take home afterwards. Then I was led to a private room to finally speak with Dr. Niksarli to review the procedure. He was very nice and calm, also answered all the questions I had. He also offered medication to calm me down, but I wasn t nervous so I didn t take anything. Finally, I was led to the operation room. The entire procedure took less than 15mins. I was awake the entire time, and Dr. N put a LOT of eye drops to numb my eyes. I only felt some pressure when he cut my cornea, but that wasn t bad at all. Imagine you pressed your palms on your eyes, only with your eyes open (weird feeling, but painless). Then the rest of the procedure was just rotating between two machines, one was for surfacing and other for laser (not sure)? There was only 1 short period right after Dr. N cut my cornea when I couldn t see anything (like for 5 scary seconds), then the rest of the time I can always see a green light with red lights around it (quite reassuring actually). After both eyes were done, Dr. Niksarli taped the protective clear covers over my eyes and that s it. I was able to get up and see (blurry) my way to the dark room for pickup. And yes, you absolutely need someone to pick you up afterwards. After 10mins in the dark room, we re allow to go home. The next day, I was able to see 20/20 (that was a VERY happy moment!
