Dr. Eastep is the best. We've been seeing her for over 15 years now, starting way back when Germantown Vet was at their old location on old MD 118. She always remembers my wife and me by name. She takes her time with our dogs and makes sure all of our questions are answered. I will only make appointments with her. She's also put down two of our dogs through the years and both times she was very gentle and caring in a very upsetting time. She's also mindful to not run up the bill on you just to make a buck, and she always calls after any procedure to make sure your pet is doing okay. One time we needed some orthopedic surgery for our cocker, and she recommended VCA on Dufief Mill Road. We went there, realized what a rip off they were (the vet said he'd do the operation, but "these dogs never live more than 6 months after the operation"--some bedside manner!), she recommened a great surgeon in Frederick who was less than half the cost of VCA, and our dog was still around 2 1/2 years late
