Businiess name:  Spring Lake Ranch

Review content:
My 22 year old son has been on a challenging journey for the past 6 years. In spite of countless therapy sessions and over a dozen different meds, he was not in control of his mood or thoughts. As a result, he was unable to function in society. He was stuck beyond belief. There have been multiple attempts at college, work and volunteering, but he simply couldn't sustain anything. After being referred to Spring Lake Ranch by my son's psychiatrist as well as a friend whose son had success, we took a leap of faith 9 months ago. The results have been amazing. This isn't a waving of the magic want and everything gets better. Serious mental health issues take time to resolve, and my son continues to make slow but steady progress every day. The nurturing environment at the Ranch provided my son with a sense of confidence, teaching him how to navigate his way through social and work situations. He takes pride in the work that he accomplishes each day, and for the first time in many years, can communicate effectively with friends and family. He has improved dramatically in terms of listening skills, socially accepted behavior and clear articulation. We are extremely proud of his efforts. He just transitioned to Spring Lake Ranch's aftercare program in the town of Rutland which is a really big deal. He is learning how to live independently, and is putting the necessary structure in his life on a daily basis. We now see a light at the end of the tunnel, and have full faith that my son will lead a healthy and fulfilling life. Anyone who has a child that is stuck needs to consider a program like Spring Lake Ranch. I can't say enough about the environment, structure, programs and most importantly, the passionate and loving staff that make Ranch "guests" feel like people, rather than a diagnosis.
