DO NOT HIRE THIS CONTRACTOR ! Our 4 month fire restoraton is 9 1/2 months in and still not actually completed. He is trying to get yet more money from our insurance company but he states that the job is complete! Laundry room was moved to the mudroom , insulated but not finished or floored. , There is a transitation strip in the living room/entry area because they did not bother to level the flooring as it was being replaced.. Doors not stained, and two "feature" doors scrape along the floor when being opened and closed., they used some ROTTEN wood in the installation of the balcony railing. Wood surface walls were not stained or sealed. No gutters, which we were charged for, Construction debris still not removed from property. Holes in bathroom walls covered with mirror., Hole in the floor of stairs bathroom. storage area. No acess to the attic, Oh, I forgot to mention that they reused the roofing panels that had fire damage, AND they installed it upside down using less than half of the required fasteners. They were charged as being new, same thing with some of the siding. There were numerous weeks where no one showed up to work on the job, his employees stated that they had been pulled to work on a apartment bldg, the contracter was trying to flip.
