Review content:
We went in to Almaden Valley Transmission for a diagnosis of clutch versus transmission (we didn't actually know what the problem was). He contacted us within a few hours and told us we would need a new clutch. He gave us a quote for the work and promised to get it back to us very quickly. It's an older truck, so he informed us that the time delay would be based on the availability of parts. When it was ready, he called to notify us of additional work to be done, saying it would be an additional amount. Well, he was spot on with the quote! He charged exactly what he said. Lastly, when we picked it up, he showed us the old parts alongside the new parts, explaining very well what had been done.
