Review content:
My husband and I had a terrible experience at Tansky. The car we were interested in was over our budget. When the salesmen asked what price we would pay, we told him our top price. He said, "Fine." We asked, "Really?" and he replied, "Yes, would you like to test drive it?"
We then paid to have the car inspected by our mechanic and returned to the lot prepared to purchase the car at the price we discussed with the salesmen.
When we returned we were told by another salesmen that the man we spoke with earlier was "not authorized" to quote those kind of prices and "doesn't know what he's talking about."
The manager became involved and reported that the initial salesmen, who was now no where to be found, had said "WHAT IF he could get us *our price*".
They did not honor the initial price quote, argued semantics, wasted three hours of our time, and the money we spent to have the car inspected.
We will never deal with Tanksy again and recommend you do the same.
