This is a great Saturday Morning trip into Allentown for fresh produce, fresh baked breads and choice meats. The Amish in the area vend here. There is the Amish Bake Shop, some great smoked meat markets, even a shop that vends local wines. I love going up there in June for the fresh local strawberries. And in the fall, there is fresh corn from the local fields. There is also a fish market that does sell some of the freshest fish I've had since I left New York. I've gotten some great salmon from there, in season. There are also flea market type vendors, selling antiques, but it's the food you come here for. Some of the merchants vend hot foods you can snack on while you are there. This is a HUGE building, so wear your walking shoes. They are only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
