After hearing all the great things about Steak Street, we decided to give it a try for brunch. We should have taken a clue that the entire restaurant was empty.\r

The brunch menu is extremely limited with only 4 or 5 items(however, you can still order off of the full menu, but what's the point of offering brunch). I ordered the shrimp and grits, my husband ordered the breakfast offering of eggs and bacon, and we ordered a grilled cheese for our daughter. The shrimp and grits were TERRIBLE. They were nothing like traditional shrimp and grits and the flavors were completely conflicting. Easily the worst I have ever tried. My daughter's grilled cheese was honestly just okay (I'm not sure how you mess up a grilled cheese, but somehow they did). My husband's breakfast was good, not great. The muffins they served prior to the meal were good, but they were the same kind you can pick up as a mix in a little pouch on aisle 4 of the grocery store. We finished with a piece of key lime p
