Every single time I have gone in with an emergency with my exotic animal that was suffering, not once had I been turned away. They either get the animal, regardless of the species, stable to keep if from suffering, or they will humanely euthanize it to put it out of misery. They are not cheap but look at the expenses they have to put out on a daily basis. Not only do they have to cover the wages of their employees, but they have a state of the art facility to pay for as well. This facility runs 365 days of the year, 24 hours a day. This cannot be cheap to operate. Taking your pet to the ER is like taking a human child to the ER at one of our many ER clinics. \r
Do you know why these people cannot bill? Because so many people abused this privilege and never made good on their promise to pay which in turned ruined it for other people that would make good on their debts and pay as promised.
