Review content:
Katsu, the veritable Japanese guru of sushi, owns and operates this establishment. He has been serving some of the freshest fish to the Valley for almost thirty years. I highly recommend sitting at the sushi bar to get the full flavor of this amazing place, where you will be served by Katsu himself or one of the other chefs, Ken or Takesh. The omikase in $30, $40 or $50 plates is by far the most interesting and satisfying experience at Tama. I always go for the $30 plate, as that's filling enough for me (along with a delicious plate of albacore sashimi)...I never thought I'd eat a sweet shrimp, but after just enough sake, Ken managed to talk me into it - fabulous. Go, keep coming back, drive if you have to - this place is worth it.
