I have been taking my two dogs and cats to Old Marple for years. I also have worked at VHUP, so I have alot of experience with animal hospitals and the level of care and concern they should provide, and I do not shock easily regarding billing. However, Dr. Parker is not only the RUDEST but probably THE most INCOMPETENT vet ever! After discovering that my small dog was straining to urinate, I took her in, and since Dr Henry had left the practice, Dr Parker took my case. She started of by insisting that my 9lb dog have surgery right away, costing over $3000, without regard to what type of stone she might have. After finally testing her urine and knowing that a dietary change might pass it (would YOU have surgery on your own bladder if you could change your diet?) she STILL insisted to perform surgery. I explained that this would be too costly, since I am a single mom with no support, no health insurance of my own, and a serious medical condition. She admonished me...told me I was making
